I am tempted to suggest that the press is crucifying the Cartman Campaign, but I think Mr. Cartman has already crucified himself:

I'm absolutely repulsed by the accusations that I would have taken money from Heywood to sabotage Cartman's campaign! I would never lower myself to such standards..! Mad

(What's that? I wasn't accused of anything..?)

I fully retract any prior statement I made involving me taking money from Heywood... Rolling Eyes

(Btw Heywood: That cheque bounced.. I hope there isn't a problem in your campaign cashflow..?)

Dear Cartman,
I want to apologize for releasing all of those pictures of you. The Heywood Floyd campaign takes full responsibility for claiming you used the word "bitch" in a disrespectful manner. And yes, we were the ones who wrote damaging things on your campaign leaflets. I personally photoshopped that satellite dish coming out of your ass too. It really has been a complete right-wing conspiracy against you and I am terribly sorry. The Hitler picture was just over the top and I cannot live with myself. I would like to publicly offer you all of my votes for global mod.

Sincerely,

Heywood Floyd
Wow Heywood, that was really big of you. Admitting your sins is the first step to the overall health of the board.

Thanx,

Cartman

ahem ... shouldn't this be over on the apologies thread?

Well, Heywood did apologize and that shows character. You can't blame the right-wing candidate for throwing mud, I think it just comes naturally to them (hehe).

Mr. Cartman I don't know if this picture has already surfaced this campaign, but can you explain why you are dressing like Mr. Harper?

Are you secretly a tory? or do you just admire his fashion sense?

Those among us who are curious, wish to know WHY is Mr. Cartman's signature line is different now. Could it be, he is possibly, caving in to the "drug" culture? Inquring minds and voters want to know.

I however, have been firm on my (pseudo) platform. We will only be supported by legal drugs... beer for everyone.

vote for Diane... the person who doesn't support Mexican staring frogs!*

* I have no idea what Mexican staring frogs are. But they sound dangerous. So... ban them.

Just persuing the evening press reports and found this:

Quote:
Cartman has received $54,000 in donations from two drug company executives, their wives and their six children.

Under a new political financing law that went into force in 2004, corporate donations to global moderator contestants are strictly prohibited.

But while a company cannot contribute money to a campaign, a company's executives, employees and family members are each entitled to give a maximum of $5,400.

When the law was introduced, critics argued it amounted to a loophole that would allow companies to circumvent the ban on corporate donations.

According to a statement of contributions filed by Cartman with Elections EnMasse, Barry Sherman, CEO and chairman of generic drug manufacturer Apotex Inc., donated $5,400 to the global moderator candidate's campaign.

Sherman's wife, Honey, and four children — all residing at the same address — also gave $5,400 each.

Apotex president Jack Kay, his wife, Patricia, and two children donated $5,400 each as well.

According to Apotex public affairs director Elie Betito, four of the six children listed as donors are teenagers.

So Cartman now we are onto your political chicanery.

First using great ingenuity you get everyone here reved up about your political campaign to become global moderator, and then low and behold you are not even on the list of candidates.

Yes that certainly is brilliant strategy.

Cat got your tongue, eh! Laughing

Why MUST we vote Cartman for global moderator indeed! Rolling Eyes Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

(Or have you dropped out as well? Sad )

SEABC News
Live Press Conference
Re: Cartman Nomination and Negative Campaigning

Male midget reporter in a red bikini: Well Tom, it looks like Mr. Cartman is about to make a late speech live here at SEABC news. Here he comes, let’s listen to what he has to say.
Mr. Cartman
Ahem...I have been directed to make a statement, but not respond to reporter’s questions at this time. Many people have pointed out that my name is not on the global moderator’s candidacy list. A few matters of negative campaigning must be confronted. The most serious is the untimely death of campaign chair Kenny McCormick. There has been some public speculation that Kenny was killed by my associates who were also working in tandem for Screaming Lord Byron’s campaign. Further, it has been alleged that this is the reason for SLB’s withdrawal from the race. This smear campaign must stop. Before I exit the room, it should be pointed out THAT KENNY HAS SOMEHOW BEEN FOUND ALIVE! Good day to you and vote Cartman as your FIRST choice for global moderator!

Male midget reporter in a red bikini: It looks like Mr. Cartman is still alive and indeed thriving! Back to you Tom.

In you missed this url to Towlie, I'd like to point the candidate out that there are numerous references to be found of "Towlie gettin' high" on the internet.
For example, if we take a look what Wikipedia has to say about the Southpark character, Towlie, it shows some strong references to the use of marijuana. May I quote from a conversation between mr. Towlie and yourself, please?

Quote:

Cartman: You just have no long-term memory because you get high all the time!
Towelie: Don't preach to me fatso!
Cartman:I can preach to you all I want 'cause you're stupid!
Towelie: You're stupid!
Cartman: You're a towel!
Towelie: You're a towel!

Could it be that your own long term memory may be suffering from some chronic induced damage, mr. Cartman..? I am awaiting your retort, my dear fellow..!

I certainly hope that the inconsistency we see in the campaign would not carry forward into moderation duties.

For a consistent candidate, please see me. You know what I will provide as moderator: Peace, order, and good government. The same standards that our Great Nation was built on.

Cartman, you seem to be on the list now, as is Diane.

Reasons why you NEED to vote Cartman

Previous political experience: Mayor of Smileytown.

Previous military experiece: Led the Confederate army to victory over the North.

Previous anti-racism experience: Ended a serious genocidal campaign directed at gingers.

Mounted strategic anti-sexual harassment campaign with sexual harassment panda.

Supporters: Ben Afleck, Jesus and Pals.

Compared to Cartman, the competition is nothing....literally.
