| There was an interview with the individuals who made the video on CBC radio in Saint John this morning, former UNB Saint John students. |

Apparently United is now scrambling to make it up to him, but he's all "No, that's ok - my way is better." In the interview I saw on CTV Newsnet the anchor was trying to get him to sing a few lines of the song. Quel fromage! He politely declined, directing people to the video instead.
I like this guy. |

In the music trade there is something called a road case, which is a case used to carry musical instruments and related gear on the road.
If one must fly, and fly their gear, there is something called a flight case.
If one saw the difference between these two cases, one would know what every musician should know - do not trust airlines to treat your musical instrument with anything other than complete disdain.
You have a choice. Use flight cases, or deal with broken instruments.

| I still wouldn't trust my instrument to baggage handlers, no matter how sturdy the case. Which is why I'm glad that I play the flute, I can always take it with me in my carry-on if I have to take it with me on a flight. |
