I don't have a blog, but in the late-1990s I had a highly informative website for my radio show.
I'd like to get a blog for the show up and running; supply track listings and links and the odd bit of commentary here and there.
Any suggestions regarding a blog host?

A few weeks ago I spent way too much time checking out the various themes on Wordpress.com, and gave up, since I didn't really like anyting I saw.

Well, today I tried to register a blog at Wordpress, filled out a bunch of stuff, and then found they were going to charge me 18 bucks to sign up. I passed.

That's odd. I've had a wordpress account for awhile. Cost me nothing. I just went to the section that says 'create a blog' and it allows me to create one for free. I may just create one, now that I've explored the option. What could it be about though?...hmmmm.

Yesterday I found a way into Wordpress to create a blog without having to pay.
I wrote some content, but nothing seems to have shown up online. Luckily I saved what I wrote so I can try posting again.

I have a theme in mind that I'm working with, that I could really run with in several more or less related directions, but am finding wordpress a tad unwieldy - likely because I'm unfamiliar with it thus far - and I'm needing already to change the blog name. A later google search refers to an exactly named electoral proposition out of San Francisco. A slight tweak should do it, while still capturing the essence of what I'd like to scribble about.
